RE/MAX Sales Associates Donate $3.1 million to Children's Miracle Network in 2005
Kelowna, British Columbia --- RE/MAX associates across Canada are committed to improving health care for sick and injured children. In 2005, RE/MAX associates raised a staggering $3.1 million for Children's Miracle Network 14 member hospitals and foundations across Canada in 2005.

The contribution topped last year's donation of just over $2.5 million dollars, an increase of 24 per cent. The Canadian contribution represented 32 per cent of the overall $9.6 million RE/MAX donated throughout North America last year. The proceeds were raised through local fundraising events and programs like the RE/MAX Miracle Home Program, where associates make a donation on behalf of each transaction.

"With over two million children in need annually, hospitals require our support more than ever before," says Christine Martysiewicz, Director of Public Relations, RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada. "There is comfort in knowing that our Sales Associates are helping to improve children's health care each and every time they sell a home."

        I am privileged to be our office representative for the Children's Miracle Network, here at RE/MAX Crest (Westside). When I joined this company in January 2006, it was mentioned to me that RE/MAX across North America had this amazing program, and if I was interested, I could lead our office to 100% participation, earning us the designation "Miracle Office". Having had recently completed 10 months of treatment and care for my own cancer, I was more than enthusiastic to be of service, especially to kids, so I signed up for the task. So, where we stand today, is.......

100% Participation!! We are a Miracle Office AND  the #1 Contributing office for 2006!!
